# Adding your first URLs

> Three ways to start monitoring pages: scan a whole site during onboarding, add URLs by hand, or auto-discover them from a connected source.

To monitor a page, URL Love It needs its address (URL). There are three ways to get pages in - most people use the first one to start and the others to expand.

## 1. Scan a site during onboarding

When you first sign up, you can type in a domain (like `yourcompany.com`) and URL Love It will scan the site and suggest the most important pages to monitor - homepage, pricing, key landing pages. You pick the ones you want and they're added as a brand automatically.

  You can run this same scan later for any new brand - you don't only get one shot during signup.

## 2. Add URLs by hand

1. Open the brand you want to add pages to (or create a new brand).
2. Choose **Add URL** and paste the full address, including `https://`.
3. Optionally give it a short label (e.g. "Pricing page") so it's easy to recognize later.
4. Save. URL Love It queues a first snapshot right away - you'll usually see it within a few minutes.

<Tip>
  **Use the exact URL you care about.** Monitor the specific page, not just the homepage - if you care about a particular ad landing page or a pricing page, add that exact address.

## 3. Auto-discover from a connected source

If you connect Google Analytics or Meta Ads, URL Love It can pull in the pages that are actually getting traffic or running as ad destinations, so you don't have to hunt them down by hand. ## After you add a page

* Each URL gets its **first snapshot** automatically - no change is reported yet, because there's nothing to compare to until the second capture.
* You can set how often each page is captured (weekly, daily, or more) - see [Understanding snapshots](/monitoring/understanding-snapshots).
* New pages start monitoring right away; you can pause any page you don't want captured for a while.

<Note>
  **Why do I only see one snapshot so far?** Change detection needs at least two snapshots to compare. Your first meaningful "change" can only appear after the second capture - so give it one cycle.
