# Reading the Changes Feed & calendar

> Where every detected change lands, how to read a side-by-side comparison, and how to dismiss the noise.

The **Changes Feed** is the running timeline of everything URL Love It has noticed across the pages you monitor, newest first. Each entry is one detected change on one page, with a severity, a short summary of what happened, and a link to see the details.

## What each change shows you

* **Which page** changed, and which brand it belongs to.
* **When** it was detected.
* **A severity** - how significant the change looks (see [How change detection works](/alerts/how-change-detection-works)).
* **A summary** of what changed, in plain language.

## The side-by-side comparison

Open any change to see the **before and after** snapshots next to each other, with the differences called out. This is the fastest way to confirm what actually happened - you can see the old headline and the new one, the price that moved, or the button that disappeared, without squinting.

<Tip>
  You can also compare any two dates yourself from a page's history - handy when you want to see how much a page drifted over a longer stretch, not just between two consecutive captures.
</Tip>

## The calendar view

The calendar lays your snapshots and changes out by day, so you can see at a glance which days had activity and jump straight to a specific date. It's a good way to spot patterns - like a competitor who updates their pricing at the start of every month.

## Dismissing changes

Not every change is worth keeping around. You can **dismiss** a change to clear it from your active view once you've looked at it. Dismissing is just about tidying your feed - it doesn't delete the underlying snapshots, and it doesn't stop future changes on that page from being detected.

<Note>
  Seeing changes you consider noise (cookie banners, rotating testimonials)? URL Love It already filters a lot of that out automatically, and you can tune what you're alerted about - see [Managing notifications](/alerts/managing-notifications).
